We’re usually awake by at least 7ish, but for those in the neighborhood who wanted to sleep in….
Then! Mark gets here to start our day with us…..
After a morning filled with words we couldn’t have faked knowing before the trip, we embark!
A few blocks and a couple bus transfers later, we had finally arrived.
I kept hearing from all of our friends that we had to check out the zoo.
It’s like a regular zoo.
Just… a little off.
Here we meet a one handed monkey!

The chimps were rather complacent.

This guy was pretty cool. He gave us a little show of his acrobatic abilities.

This little guy saw us and went to go get his buddy.

Who then proceded to stick his whole arm out the cage and beg for food.

Little daddy monkey groomin a baby monkey.

Someone threw a lollipop into their cage… Which they knew exactly what to do with.
You’ll notice that there’s not much to keep people out of the areas…
These next guys were playing marco/polo, I’m thinkin. Splashin about. Having a grand ol’ time!

Next up. Grocs?

What’s one tiny little missprint?

They don’t look all THAT ferolious…
In fact, “I don’t think they’re real…”
“You should climb in there..”
Taming the wild beasts.
…..
And the tigers grew restless…..
And then the show was over……
time for….
Photo-Ops?
I would have been excited for the kangaroos…..
if they had been doing something.
So we made our way to the water exhibits….
Where the dolphins get the last laugh….
And a giant bribe.
But then again…
We all kinda jump through hoops for a meal sometimes, eh?
This is one of those questionable situations….
But!
Before:
After:
“What do you think, Mark?”
“Uh, I think I will try to describe it to the Father later.”
Then we rode:
THE LANUCH TOWER!!!!
also maybe the LAUNCH tower
And we’ll end it off with some more great signs from around the park!
We ended by going to a western food place.
We were told there were steaks here,
we tried to tell them that we were from TEXAS and that they didn’t understand what a REAL steak was…
…but the food wasn’t too shabby after all.

Beautiful.
that bear is bizarre…was it a guy in a suit, or an actual trained bear? And yes, my hair is the blondest it’s ever been!
Glad to see y’all are finding time to have fun while you keep it real. We’ll be happy when you come home, and we’re cheering you on while you’re over there! Blessings, dear brothers.
